Pets.
For the benefit of all patrons, the dogs themselves and the protection of local wildlife, we now have a strict policy of no pets, especially dogs, allowed on the festival grounds at all. We regret any inconvenience this causes, but warn that the policy will be enforced.
Fire.
The risk of fire is a serious problem and places all patrons and the future of the festival in danger. Therefore there is a total fire ban on and around the site; this includes candles, stoves and lanterns. You can find more detailed fire safety information here.
Making a difference.
There are many ways that can make a difference to the impact we all have on the planet and we hope that environmental responsibility extends beyond the festival. We are working with a number of environmental organisations to provide you with information and tips on how to make your lives more environmentally sustainable which will be available from the information tent. To find out more online about the issues and what you can do, click here or follow the links below to these organisations and others.
Final note.
Please respect the environment - help preserve the trees and nature for all to enjoy. We are blessed in this country to be able to stage events such as this, outdoors and amongst natural beauty. However, the continuation of the festival and its use of the site is reliant on respect and an effort by all to reduce our environmental impact. Addressing issues such as waste collection and disposal, and providing fresh drinking water incurs significant financial costs that are eventually reflected in ticket prices. Everyone doing their bit will ensure costs are kept down and enable all to enjoy a clean, safe and natural experience throughout the festival.
