The kids activities are operational from 11- 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday for kids activities listed below.
Additional to the Activities, there is day and night time entertainment in the 'Tranquility Tee Pee'n in which kids and teens can relax and and parents can revive to movies.
We have an exciting and colourful program 2008 and look forward lots of fun !!!
SATURDAY
11am-12 ~ FUTURISTIC RAINBOW ART by Becky Gee
Colouring in Rainbow signs for littlies / drawing & colouring the future... the festival, the people, the houses and cars that will fly! Bring your Idea and we will display it in the Kids Art Gallery Wall! Prizes to be won !! ( ages 3 up )
12- 1pm ~ FACE MAKE-UP & COSTUME PLANNING by Pheonix
Plan & design your own creative costume for the opening ceremony. (all ages)
Pre festival : Parents please bring bits and pieces to help make fantastic costumes and the kids favourite outfits. ( ages 2 up )
1-2pm ~ ELECTRO DANCE GAME by Becky Gee
Bring those dancing feet down to electronic dance-off mat! ( ages 5 up )
1.30pm ~ BALLOON ANIMALS - by Twisted Designs
Let the professionals Cody & Danielle, all the way from Cairns, show you a how to turn balloons into funny animals ( all )
2-3pm ~ PUPPET SHOW - by the Infamous 'Hanzard' the Wizard!
Hanzard is back from Bali with Fabulous Fantasy Puppets...to take you on a wonderous journey into the world of little string people. ( all ages )
3-4pm ~ OPENING CEREMONY PARADE CREATION
We invite you to join in the preparation to be a part of the Official Opening Ceremony...Come and get your face painted in your creative costumes. ( all ages )
4pm ~ THE JESTER VISITS !!
YES , The JESTER will come to meet the kids and do a little dance and song. ( all ages )
5pm ~ OPENING CEREMONY
Kids over to the Opening Ceremony, with parents, to be led by the Jester on a Magical journey into the land of the Rainbow serpent. ( all ages - to be supervised by parents )
6pm - 7pm PARADE
We are calling on kids to partake in the PARADE of the opening ceremony in their costume creations. ( all ages )
MOVIES ~ THE TRANQUILITY TEE PEE
The kid and parents chillout zone - Operating day into night time Saturday and Sunday. There will be a program of movies screening suitable for different age groups at chosen times. ( Kids must be supervised at all times and please monitor your childʼs viewing of movies screened. )
SUNDAY

come and make your very own badge with our special badge making machine... new and exciting! ( ages 4 up )
12- 1pm ~ ORIGAMI - by Mikoto
come and learn the traditional art of origami and natural crafts with Japanese lady. ( ages 2 up )
1-2pm ~ JUGGLE WORKSHOP - by Hanzard the one and only true Wizard
Come and learn how to juggle 100 things at a time or show us your fabulous new tricks!( ages 3 up )
2-3pm ~ SERIOUSLY SILLY SING & DANCE - by Hanzard
a chance to show your them and if not... well at least you know you can sing really loud! ( all ages )
2.30 ~ BALLOON ANIMALS - by Twisted Designs
part two of the infamous Balloon twisting entertainment... watch your favourite animals come to life! (all ages )
3-4pm ~ STORY TELLING by a mystery guest
come and join in to hear a true story of how the Rainbow Serpent came to life ! Then we will make our own story adventure book. ( all ages )
4pm ~ Relax on into the night in the Tranquility Tee Pee for some classic family movies. ( all ages )
We encourage all parents to be involved in activties with your kids On Saturday there will be an opening ceremony parade in which we would like kids to participate in. Please remember to bring your child's favourite outfit and trinkets so that they look their creative best for the parade... anything wild and wonderful they would like to wear...perhaps their favourite creature or anything that makes them feel super special.
Parents - the kids area is not a babysitting service and we require parents to be supervising their children at all times that the children are attending the Kids area and Tranquility Movie Tee Pee. Thankyou for understanding our position.
