Children

All Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian holding a ticket to the Festival, upon entry and at all times during the Festival.  A Child that is not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian will be refused entry to the Festival.

Each parent or legal guardian will be required to sign and return an Accompanying Adult Form in relation to each Child they accompany to the Festival (Accompanying Adult Form), either prior to the Festival or at the entry point (as and when requested by the Festival). We may refuse entry to any Child and their parent or legal guardian where the Accompanying Adult Form has not been returned in accordance with our requirements.

Youth

All Youth must be accompanied by an Accompanying Adult, holding a ticket to the Festival, upon entry and at all times during the Festival.  A Youth that is not accompanied by an Accompanying Adult will be refused entry to the Festival.

Each Accompanying Adult will be required to sign and return an Accompanying Adult Form in relation to each Youth they accompany to the Festival, either prior to the Festival or at the entry point (as and when requested by the Festival).  We may refuse entry to any Youth and their Accompanying Adult, where the Accompanying Adult Form has not been returned in accordance with our requirements.

If the Accompanying Adult is not a parent or legal guardian of the Youth, the Youth’s parent or legal guardian is required to sign and return a Youth Parent/Guardian Consent Form (Parent/Guardian Consent Form), either prior to the Festival or at the entry point (as and when requested by the Festival). We may refuse entry to any Youth and their Accompanying Adult, where the Youth Parent/Guardian Consent Form has not been returned in accordance with our requirements.

All Youth must present valid photo identification at the entry point. For Youth, we will accept as valid photo ID:

  • A driver’s licence (including a learner’s permit)
  • Current passport
  • Student Card
  • Bus pass

Arrival and Wristbands

All Children and Youth must arrive and register at the Festival box office with their nominated Accompanying Adult and if they fail to do so, they will be refused entry to the festival and their entire arrival party may also be refused entry to the festival.

All Children and Youth attending the Festival will be required to wear a special ‘child’ or ‘youth’ wristband at all times during the Festival.  Accompanying Adults may also be required to wear a form of identification, if requested by us.

Refunds

If we do not receive an Accompanying Adult Form or a Parent/Guardian Consent Form in relation to a Youth Ticket as and when requested by us, we reserve the right to cancel the Youth Ticket and will provide a full refund (less booking fee) to the purchaser of the Youth Ticket.

If a Youth is refused entry to the Festival because they did not arrive and register at the Festival box office with their nominated Accompanying Adult, the Youth will not be entitled to a refund of Youth Ticket.

Accompanying Adult Obligations

An Accompanying Adult can accompany a maximum of up to 3 Children or Youth into the Festival.

An Accompanying Adult should consider their responsibility carefully. On agreeing to accompany a Child or Youth to the Festival, the Accompanying Adult agrees to accompany and supervise the Child or Youth at all times during the Festival in a responsible manner.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to or eject from the Festival, any Child or Youth (and their Accompanying Adult) who we reasonably believe is not, or will not, be under the supervision of a responsible Accompanying Adult during the Festival.

All Accompanying Adults are required to comply with the Terms and Conditions and to ensure that all Children and Youth they accompany to the Festival comply with the Terms and Condition.  If any Accompanying Adult fails to comply with the Terms and Conditions (or any Children or Youth they accompany to the Festival fails to comply with the Terms and Conditions), the Accompanying Adult as well as all Children or Youth they have agreed to accompany to the Festival will be refused entry to or ejected from the Festival.

We reserve the right to remove a Child or Youth from the Festival if Festival staff (including security) reasonably believe that the Child or Youth is not being adequately supervised by the Accompanying Adult they have entered the Festival with. In such event, Festival staff may take the Child or Youth to a safe location until the Accompanying Adult or a parent or guardian can be located, or may put the Child or Youth in the care of the police.

A Child or Youth must not engage in any illegal activities whilst at the Festival including consuming alcohol or the use of illicit substance.
