Adrian Bell is one of the most respected names in Melbourne's techno community for his limitless dedication to the scene and to the dissemination of quality techno.
His distinctive sound is one that moves further and deeper into the heavier side of spectrum. An Adrian Bell set is comprised of wall-to-wall techno: the darker, the harder; the better. But by no means does it make for a boring listen; he manages to enrich his sets with elements of avant-garde hovers and hums, and driving and buoyant soundscapes. Despite this proclivity for a sound palette full of intense, all consuming techno, Adrian’s approach to DJing is not one-dimensional, and uses his interest in unorthodox styles of music to inspire his sets.
This approach had helped Adrian command any dance-floor he plays to and assume an authoritative position in the scene. Consequently, Adrian has played at some of Australia’s biggest electronic music festivals such as Rainbow Serpent Festival (2016), Pitch Music & Arts (2017, 2018) and Let Them Eat Cake (2014) and overseas at Tresor Berlin (2015, 2017, 2018), Golden Gate Berlin (2018) Ava Berlin (2014) and EN-SOF Tokyo (2014).
