Peer Engagement Program
Please join us in a collective attempt to shape our festival culture!
“It takes a village to raise a child”….
“It takes a village to raise a child” is an African proverb which means that it takes an entire community of different people interacting with children in order for a child to experience and grow in a safe environment. We feel it’s much the same with our festival culture.
We know the vast majority of our patrons want to see a safer, cleaner Rainbow and many of you have expressed an interest in helping to support this shift. We hope our peer engagement program will provide an opportunity for hundreds of our festival patrons to collectively participate throughout the weekend in creating this change.
For those with a passion for waste & sustainability issues or consent culture we invite you to join our peer education program team for 2019!
What you get.
- Training in engagement.
- Tips on how to spot potential issues or trouble and how to report it.
- Understanding of the festival's resources so you can help others that need help.
- The support network of the whole RSF team to get out there and engage!
We’ll supply all our peer engagement team with our limited edition RSF19 Buff so you can easily identify each other over the weekend.
Armed with knowledge and our resources and support you can enjoy your weekend while engaging with patrons and keeping an extra set of eyes out for potential issues.
Fill out the following application form and come to the training session on Friday afternoon at the festival and join the Rainbow team!
