The Rainbow Serpent Festival Permaculture Garden site has been designed, created, adapted and transformed by a hard-working crew of motivated market gardeners, permaculture designers, landscapers and educators.
This space aims to reconnect people to the earth that sustains us, through observation and education.
The garden uses Permaculture ethics, principles and strategies, along with organic gardening techniques, offering a unique experience within the harsh Australian bushland.
This ever-evolving space is designed to inspire people to think of where their food comes from, and how they may better become a steward of ecological health. This year the next succession of the food forest has been planted, along with many herbs that will eventually be used in the elixir bar as part of a nourishing, self-cycling system.
